don't think we will ever stop people throwing sticks for dogs, it is
widely believed to be an acceptable thing to do.
However, we shouldn't stop trying to change people's attitudes. I have created an A4 size poster which you can print off. Please help spread the word by printing off a poster and asking your vet or dog club secretary to display it on their noticeboards. Maybe you could put one in a plastic cover and pin it to a tree in the park. I have also created some warning slips carrying a warning, which you could print on an A4 sheet of paper and cut into individual notices. You could carry them in your pocket when you take your own dog for a walk, and then if you see someone throwing a stick for their dog, you could just give them the slip of paper. I'm currently making enquiries about getting some car stickers printed, so watch this space and I'll let you know if and when they're available.

if you're walking your dog and you happen to see a stick lying around
which might encourage someone to throw it for their dog later on, just
pick it up and lose it in the bushes where a dog cannot get it.
If our efforts can save one dog from being injured or killed, then surely it's been worthwhile.
