Bizzi's Wins
Mum worked Bizzi up until the summer of 1998, but when she died in October 1998, I took over his training and began competing with him at the beginning of 1999. Bizzi has always been quite a joker in the ring. One time, Mum was queueing to do an "A" scent with him. She took the cloth from the tin on the steward's table and went into the ring. After she'd scented the cloth, it was put out amongst the other cloths and Bizzi was sent to find it. He did a perfect scent and came running back with the right cloth, but he ran straight past Mum and put the cloth back on the steward's table! He thought he'd been ever so clever ! At one show when I was working him, he was on a good mark in 'A' but presented the cloth to the steward. This is what Bizzi won, with the some of the judges' comments: 1999 13th Feburary 1999 - Thurrock Limited Show Judge - Jan Green 1st in Novice "An outstanding round with very few errors. Sharon, working her Mum's dog, was a pleasure to watch with her poise and quiet confident handling. A well deserved win. Good luck with him Sharon. I'm sure in your capable hands he will go all the way. Lost 3." 17th April 1999 - Woburn & District DTC Open Show Judge - Pat West 1st in Novice 25th April 1999 - Basingstoke & District DTC Open Show Judge - Chris Williams 1st in Novice "Doreen, I do hope you read DTW where you are because you can be proud of Sharon and Bizzi, they are quite a team together now. Biz worked so well today, it was hard to fault him, just two slightly crooked sits was all. I believe that's two Novices in two weeks. Very well done. Lost ½."
16th May 1999 - North West Kent DTC Open Show Judge - Len Pearce 1st in Novice "Superb work. What a run Sharon is having with her dogs." 31st May 1999 - St Edwards DTC Open Show Judge - Tony Gibbens 1st in Novice "Sharon would be the first to agree that her Mum did all the hard work, but Mum would be proud to see the polish that has now produced a winning dog. Sharon is the model of dedication that is needed today to achieve any success and I'm sure that with her determination, this dog will be in the higher classes before long. Easily the best in the ring today. Lost 1."
5th September 1999 - Purley & Coulsdon DTS Open Show Judge - Chris Hards 1st in "B" "Super heelwork, just a bit of tightening up on position and tidying up of presents and finishes should see this dog doing well in "C". The only team to get a clear sendaway. Lost 7½."
2000 19th August 2000 - Dunmow & District DTC Open Show Judge - Kathy Quinnell 1st in "A" "Well Sharon, Bizzi did it for you today, a well deserved win. Lost 1¼." 3rd September 2000 - Purley & Coulsdon DTS Open Show Judge - Val Tomlin 1st in "B" "Well done, what a well deserved win after a run-off. A pleasure to give you the red card today. Lost 7".

24th September 2000 - Newmarket & District Canine Society Judge - Iris Shiner 1st in "A" "Well done on this win Sharon. Bizzi worked very well and has a lovely attitude. He clinched the top spot with a lovely scent. Lost 5".

2001 19th May 2001 - Brixton DTC Open Show Judge - Linda Fuller 1st in "B" "This was a good overall team performance. Congratulations on your 3rd 'B' win. Lost 5."
